Who they are…
This New Forest based company (Milford on Sea to be precise!) was founded by a lovely lady called Claire Lee in 2003 after her experiences of living in Penang in Malaysia.
What they do…
Claire creates yummy chutneys, sauces, marinades and much more using locally sourced ingredients where possible. Products change with the seasons to reflect ingredients available at that time of year. Using a variety of fragrant herbs and spices, more exotic creations are made including Thai curry paste, Moroccan rub and Three fruit and five spice chutney.
Why we think they are great!
We love Spice ’n’ Easy because they are made locally in the New Forest and taste fantastic. The New Forest Marque appears on many of Claire’s products which shows that over 25% of the ingredients are sourced from the New Forest area. Two of the Spice’n’Easy range have recently received gold medals in the Great Taste Awards 2011.
