Who they are…
Little Green Radicals bring an ethical touch to stylish baby and children’s clothes. It evolved as part of Hug, a fair trade clothing company established in 2002 and started out with playsuits and t-shirts, but now boasts a full range for babies and children.
What they do…
From humble beginnings, LGR now produce a wide range of fair trade, organic clothes and accessories, including beautiful dresses, bibs, bodies, sleeping bags and soft toys for babies and gorgeous dresses, skirts, leggings and hoodies for kids. From classic contemporary designs to more modern, funny slogan garments, their stylish range appeals to adults and kids alike, and ‘Give Peas a chance’ never fails to raise a smile!
Why we think they are great!
Just like Rapanui, LGR use only organic cotton, ensuring it is produced sustainably and without the use of potentially dangerous pesticides! LGR have also supported fair trade since 2005, benefitting small-scale cotton producers and their families. In their own words, “this means a guaranteed fair price for the farmers plus an additional social premium that is spent on essential medical care and education for their families and the whole community.”
